“The unexamined faith is not worth believing.”

— D.L. Dykes, Jr.

This play on Socrates’ quote, “the unexamined life is not worth living,” captures the Foundation’s approach that examination is healthy and vital to more fully understanding our faith. We should not be afraid of our questions.

From D.L. Dykes, Jr.’s earliest work with the Foundation, scholars have been a part of the voice of the organization, responding to sermons on the various religious education television shows.

Today, Faith And Reason cultivates relationships with historians, authors, clergy, professors, and others who are shaping the cutting edge of our understanding of the dialogue between faith and reason. We are always seeking new voices. If you fit the categories above, please contact info@faithandreason.org to start a conversation about how we might work together.
